Weekend Shenanigans

Weekend Shenanigans

This weekend was calm, relaxing, and wonderful! It started off a bit rough because we missed the firetruck pull and my poor husband was so upset. We were both bummed because we really wanted to go see it. Sadly, our grocery shopping took a little longer than we thought it would. We got over it and still had a great weekend though.

 1. Baby Marine

This is what happens when daddy is in charge. The dang thing was so big on him he couldn't see at all. Sorry Liam!

2. Sleepy Baby

This sweet little man couldn't even make it to his crib before falling asleep. At least he finished his bottle, so sweet!

3. First Postpartum Shopping Trip

Yea you read that right. This was my first time actually shopping for myself since I had the boys. I was a little nervous with how I was going to feel, surprisingly it went really well! I was SHOCKED at what size pants I fit in. These jeans were a size 0....WHAAAAAT?! SO of course I bought them because I felt fabulous in them and bonus? They were $20! Express jeans for $20? Yes please! And that sweater was TO DIE FOR. It's so comfy and I spoiled myself, but hey I deserve it right? That's what I keep telling myself...

4. Roll Damn Tide

Bama crushed Kent State this weekend and the final score was Kent State:0 Crimson Tide:48. Roll Tide! I'm excited for the game coming up against Kentucky. Let's GOOOOOOO!

5. Oktoberfest

Hubby and I decided to check out the Oktoberfest festival that was happening down the street. It looked really cool when we drove past it so we strapped on the babies and walked ourselves over. It was a yucky day, which helped with the heat. The boys had a good time looking around and they had some cool booths. Of course we couldn't leave without funnel cake and a giant thing of curly fries....and yes I just had that for dinner ha!

6. Big Boy Breakfasts

First off the boys still look SO tiny in these high chairs! Their favorite things are bananas, so I cut some up and let them suck on them. They LOVED it. We also bought these Happy Baby Organic Puffs for them to try and Bentley devoured them! They had so much fun playing with their food.

7. Yum!

Sunday mornings are for yummy breakfasts and being lazy. I let the hubs sleep in and did some cleaning, took care of the boys and made us breakfast. It was the perfect Sunday morning!

8. Late Night Snacks

The hubby and I haven't had a movie night in a long time and figured it was about time. I had some caprese and chopped up apples and later in the night (around 1:00am) we decided to get some real food. We hopped in the car and drove to Whataburger and it was just what we needed! We snuggled and watched movies until we fell asleep and it was perfect!

Another great weekend!
