1. Big Boy Shopping
We FINALLY went to the Whole Foods near us. My mama was in town, so I figured we would check it out! I've been wanting to go ever since we moved down here. I. AM. IN. LOVE. I was like a kid in a candy store. I love everything they offer and I'll definitely be going there every week now. They offer so many wholesome and organic foods, it makes this natural mama smile! Liam was wide awake, so I figured I'd try putting him in the cart like a big boy. He LOVED it! He was a bit wobbly, but he got the hang of it. We ended up getting lunch at the bar they have there. (Yes they have a bar inside the grocery store.)
2. Splish Splash
Of course since my mama was visiting, we had to take her to the beach! We went to part of the Air Force Beach near the bridge and it was great. There were NO waves and the sand was white. The boys had fun, although Liam was over it much faster than Bentley was. Bentley LOVED the water! He is definitely his mama's son. He'd have lived in it all day if we let him.
3. Gulfarium
I've always seen the signs for the Gulfarium and we've passed it a thousand times, but we had never gone. Since my mama was visiting it was the perfect excuse to check it out. I have to say it's pretty small. And seeing the dolphins did make me a bit sad. But, they had lots of educational spots for kids. The boys LOVED watching the fish swim.
4. McGuire's Irish Pub
This place was SO much fun! There are dollar bills all over the ceiling and the walls. If you have a dollar, they give you a sharpie and a staple gun and let you add to the collection. They have OVER a million dollars inside. The food was great and the portions were HUGE. The people were friendly, what else do you expect from an Irish pub, and I'm definitely going back! The boys had a good time too.
