When Wes and I first found out that I was pregnant, all I could think about was how much fun we'd have decorating the nursery. Then Wes reminded me that we'd most likely be moving before the baby (we didn't know we were having twins then) would arrive. This really broke my heart, because it meant I didn't get to design and set up a nursery. That soon changed though, as my husband's orders changed. It looked like we would be here for a little longer than we thought. So, of course I went into full design mode!

After we found out we were having boys we decided on a woodland theme for the nursery. This perfectly reflected my husband and I because we love camping, hiking, and really anything outside.

We were so lucky to receive a free hand me down crib from a friend of my mother-in-law, the only thing was it wasn't quite the color we wanted. No problem for this DIY mama! We (by we I mean ME) sanded then painted the crib.

Once the crib was up, it was all fun decorating from there! Anyone who knows me knows I love a good bargain and try not to spend money where I don't need to. We decided that instead of buying an expensive changing table, that we'd just make one ourselves. We went down to Walmart and bought a few cubby shelves and made our own "dresser" and changing table.

We're almost done with our nursery, just a few more finishing touches I want to add, but so far I love how it's turning out! Stay tuned for more!
