When the holidays roll around, I go FULL Martha Stewart....or try to! I get into it and have so much fun doing it. So, it was a no brainer that we just HAD to go to a pumpkin patch with the littles. Since our engagement, we haven't had a professional photo session done. I thought it was about time to get a family photo, so I hit Facebook asking about photographers in our area. I came across some great photographers and being a military spouse, I try and support other military families. I decided on a girl who's husband is away and has a little girl. Who better to help out? Bonus: She lets you keep ALL the good photos she gets. When do you ever get that sort of deal?
We decided to do our photos in the late afternoon, right before they closed because when aren't sunset pictures beautiful? We got there around 4:30pm and looked everywhere for our photographer and she was nowhere to be found. We looked....waited....looked some more. So instead of waiting, we decided to take some of our own pictures. (I brought my Cannon just in case, always have a plan B!) We finally got ahold of her and she said she was lost. We took some more pictures and then she showed up. We took turns taking pictures, picked out pumpkins and then we were on our way home. It was a lot of fun! I was so happy that we got to share this experience with our military family! Here are my favorites.
