Making Rolled Beeswax Candles

Making Rolled Beeswax Candles

There's something about this time of year that just screams homemade candles, baked goodies, and slow cozy days. The problem is, most candles contain toxic chemicals and junk you just don't want you or your family breathing in.

I personally love candles, and that was one of the hardest things for me to give up when I started on this non toxic journey. I decided instead of giving them up completely, I would make a healthier version myself.

The good news is, these are super easy to make and are a great activity to do with your kiddos! My kids love crafts and these are no exception.

I bought this kit here, and it has everything you need!

All you need to do is place the wick along the edge of the wax sheet, and tightly roll until you come to the end. I like to tightly pack the top and bottom of the candle to make sure it doesn't unravel. All that's left to do is put it in a candle holder and light it!

They add such a feeling of hygge to the home, especially when it's cold outside!

I hope you have fun making these! My kids love to give them away as gifts.
