Fall is one of my favorite seasons. The warm scents of cinnamon and nutmeg wafting through the house. There's just something so cozy about it.
I also love all the things PUMPKIN! Pumpkin pie is a classic and an absolutely favorite in our home, along with so many other pumpkin flavored things like this pumpkin spice creamer.
You can buy pumpkin spice blends at the grocery store, but if you're like me and tend to run out of things, this is a great (and easy) way to make your own. You also know exactly what's going into it and can tailor it to your families preferences. For example, we really love cinnamon in this house, so mine is a little heavier on the cinnamon. I also make sure to use all organic spices for my blends.
Here's what you'll need:
- 4 Tbsp cinnamon
- 2 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp allspice
- 2 tsp ginger
- 1 1/2 tsp clove
Simply whisk all the spices together and store in a glass spice jar.
This blend is good for so many things! If you make this blend don't forget to tag me on IG @dakotajcurfman so I can see what you make!
