Ellie Grace | 3 Month Update

Ellie Grace | 3 Month Update

Happy month of love y'all! It's already February and our sweet baby girl is three months old! I feel like I say this every month, but dang it's just flying by. I'm in a bit of denial that she's already a quarter of a year old. TIME. SLOW. DOWN.

This last month has been a busy and exciting one! We've officially moved into our new RV, and are loving it! But since we have a new space, we're clearing out the storage unit which has been a project in itself.

We also celebrated not one, but TWO birthday's this last month. Cooper just turned two, and we had a little get together for him yesterday. I also had my birthday this week, so it's been about two weeks straight of celebrating and I'm not complaining!

Ellie is growing SO fast! I feel like so much has changed in this last month. She's more awake and alert during the day, which is both exciting and challenging. I love that she is more active, but finding that balance with the four kiddos has been a challenge for me.

Thankfully she still loves the swing, so it's become mama's little helper. During the evenings though, when daddy is home, she loves her snuggles! She also loves her big brothers, and I'm not sure who is more obsessed. Her bothers with her, or her with her brothers. I love to watch them try and make her smile. Liam will come over and pet her crazy hair. It's seriously growing like a weed and sticks straight up! Her skin has finally cleared up which is so exciting! We haven't had to use the cream since the initial treatment.

eat

She's still eating a whole bunch. I don't even keep track anymore. We're nursing on demand, and she's exclusively breastfed. She's getting up roughly 3-4 times at night to nurse, which hasn't changed. She still won't take a binky or bottle, which is a bit stressful for me since she HATES the carseat. I'm seriously considering getting a new one, because this mama can't take it much longer.

sleep

She still sleeps like a champ. She usually falls asleep pretty quickly in her swing. When it's time for bed we move her and I'll nurse her back to sleep. She probably sleeps the best out of all my babies, and I am SO grateful for that. Especially after Cooper, who didn't sleep through the night until he was a year old. Let's be real though, I haven't slept much in the last five years...

stats

We went to the doctor (a bit late) for her two month check up and here were her stats:

Weight: 12lbs 10.6oz (birth: 7lbs 9.6oz)

Height: 23in (birth 20in)

She still loves the carrier and being outside. I hope she keeps that outdoorsy heart of hers! She hates baths and I'm hoping we grow out of that phase soon.

I couldn't have asked for an easier, more delicious baby! Hope y'all have a great Valentine's Day and celebrate those you love! See you next month!
