How Far Along?: 9 Weeks! Happy Halloween! I can't believe we are almost in the double digits.
Weight Gain: I'm not sure but if I had to guess I would say maybe 1-3 lbs or so.
Gender?: No idea but I really hope it's another girl!
How Big is Baby?: Baby is the size of a cherry! They're measuring between .5 and 1.67 inches and weighs about .07 ounces, and their growth is picking up steam! This is the final week of baby’s embryo status, and with that comes a head that’s a bit more rounded and straightened up. Baby has lost their tail and is starting to move freely around the amniotic sac, wiggling around their cozy home. Their knee, elbow, shoulder, ankle and wrist joints are all working, and their arms are now bent at the elbow—ideal for working out all those little muscles that are forming!
Symptoms: I've been feeling SO sick lately. I actually threw up for the first time last week which was NOT fun. I have to have a bag of cheerios or crackers with me at all times. If I don't eat something every hour I feel super nauseous. I've also been having some GI issues and can't wait for my digestive tract to get back to normal. The gas pains are also killer. Overall I'm just struggling.
Any Food Cravings?: Nothing really. And when something sounds good, it all of a sudden doesn't once I get it.
Sleep: I haven't been sleeping well. I keep waking up to pee and I just can't get comfortable.
Stretch Marks?: No new ones!
Maternity Clothes?: Not quite yet, but I'm getting there!
Wedding Ring On or Off?: On!
What Do You Miss the Most?: Feeling normal and being able to function like a human.
What Are You Most Excited For This Next Week?: We are moving and I can't wait for this new adventure!
Labor Signs?: Nope!
Favorite Memory From Last Week?: We got to see baby again and it was so fun to see how much they have grown! We also got to see them wiggling and bouncing around in there. The heart rate was 171! Nice and strong!
