How Far Along?: 8 Weeks!
Weight Gain: I'm not sure, honestly I don't feel much different aside from the bloat. I may have gained maybe a pound or two?
Gender?: No idea but I'm hoping it's another girl! I'd love for Ellie to have a little sister!
How Big is Baby?: Baby about the size of a raspberry or jelly bean! Measuring in at about .63in and .04 ounces. Little peanut is growing a millimeter each day. Baby's fingers and toes are now only slightly webbed, the lower limb buds are coming in and their feet buds taking on a more webbed-like paddle shape. Their embryonic tail is gone too. This means baby’s body is transforming from its early embryo C-shape to a more straighter, upright appearance. Baby has now formed just about everything an adult has: bones, muscles, fingers, toes, a cute button nose–all of it! They even start to get some eye color! Fun fact: baby's taste buds are now forming, gearing up for their first meals.
Symptoms: Just within the last week I've experienced more symptoms. I'm more and more nauseous and the car is my enemy at the moment. I'm also super tired which is to be expected with this PCS. TMI but the gas pains and GI upset is in full swing all of a sudden too. I usually feel my best in the middle of the day but mornings and nights can be a little rough.
Any Food Cravings?: I wouldn't say I have any real cravings yet. I've been trying to keep things simple because of my GI and gas pain. Also nothing really sounds good at the moment.
Sleep: I'm exhausted but for some reason don't sleep as well at night. I sleep like a ROCK during the day though.
Stretch Marks?: No new ones, and I'd be surprised if I got anymore than I already have!
Maternity Clothes?: Not yet! But I've definitely started searching.
Wedding Ring On or Off?: On!
What Do You Miss the Most?: Sushi seems to be the only thing I really miss!
What Are You Most Excited For This Next Week?: I'm looking forward to our next ultrasound appointment on Halloween! We also get ready to leave for Seattle soon!
Labor Signs?: Nope!
Favorite Memory From Last Week?: I'd say being able to be present for our friends wedding and being able to spend time with friends we haven't seen in a long time! It was a good send off for us!
