Happy Hump Day y'all! I know this post is a little late but as per usual things are chaotic here. This weekend was special because we went to see family. We left Arizona Friday night and didn't get to my parents house until almost midnight. As you can imagine we were all SO tired.
The next day we woke up early and my sweet husband dropped me off at the Grand Californian Resort and Spa. Key word being spa. He planned an ENTIRE spa day for me. It was so amazing and I truly needed it.
When I walked in, I was immediately relaxed! They gave me a spa robe and some sandals and I put my belongings in a locker. I walked to the quiet room and just waited for my massage to start. IT. WAS. AMAZING. I know I'm using that word a lot but OH MY WORD I can't think of another way to say it. I was in heaven. I about fell asleep on the table.
After my massage, I had a facial which was nice and then it was on to my mani pedi. It was the fanciest mani pedi I've ever had in my life. When I was finally done (five hours later) my husband and his friend picked me up, and we drove back to my parent's house. Once we got there, we picked up the boys and went straight to lunch with some more old friends.
It was so great to see them and I'm happy we were in town at the same time. After lunch we went back to my parent's house. Relaxed for all of 20 minutes and then it was off to dinner. We had dinner at this cute little place on the water. The boys loved watching the birds and the seal swimming around!
